  • Good modern phrases, no way to speak

I like how Memrise teaches modern, current phrases and also how native speakers demonstrate them. However, I need practice speaking and Memrise seems to have no están for me to practice speaking myself.
  • Oracle bone script??

Very impressed to see that this app has oracle bone script, an ancient form of written Chinese that pyromancers carved into bone and used in divination rituals. Very obscure and very cool.

i really like memrise, im learning russian, french, spanish, and asl (community course) and i like how you have a visual and audio of actual people instead of just a robot. i do wish there were more courses available for those who can’t pay for memrise pro, but other than that it’s pretty good 👍

Great app for language review, especially when you have a few minutes to kill in the middle of the day.

  • Better than duolingo

What i like about this app is that is uses a lot more colloquialisms and stuff that you would actually use irl than other apps ive used. It uses multiple actors saying the same lines so you get to hear how it actually sounds and i feel like it focuses more on general comprehension whereas with duolingo focuses a lot on spelling which personally is not something im too caught up on.
  • No Greek

What can I say? This app is useless for learning Greek, so it’s useless to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
