I learned a lot from the course online. The only problem is I was not offered my certificate. Other than that I really enjoyed taking this class and it helped me a lot.
  • Love Coursera, hate that I can’t use the app.

I’m toward the end of my 7 day trial and I fully plan on purchasing a yearlong membership. It’s a little silly, however, that there is a known login issue for at least this whole time preventing users from logging in on the app. With the correct login information, i still get an “unauthorized request” message. When I contacted support they said their engineering team was working on a fix. My device is compatible (supposedly) and I have up to date software, yet I still can’t use this app, which means I can’t work on my course material anywhere that I don’t have easy access to a web browser.
  • Video playback issues

Having trouble with video playback. iPhone 14 Pro. The video freezes while audio continues, or the video will randomly start playing from the beginning with doubled audio or looping sections. Very frustrating, haven’t had issues on my Android Tablet.
  • Took money

So many nice courses to choose from so I paid $60 for a yearly subscription. On the app it says I didn’t pay and want me to pay again. I’ve contacted the company many times about this problem via email multiple times and no response. I do have receipts

The class is great. The only thing I don't like is in the middle of the lectures, the app signs you out and freezes a lot.
  • Kind of a joke

Coursera locked me out of my account for absolutely no reason. I pay Coursera $40 a month. Four days into the first month. I am locked out. This is an absolute joke. They have almost no customer support and or they are not responding.
  • Download all feature doesn’t work

I’ll frequently hit the download all button and it says it completes successfully. Then later when I’m watching the courses, the lectures won’t have video but the audio will be working. I’ll delete the download for that video and then re-download it and it works with video. You can’t trust the “download all” button to work. Would be great if this bug could be addressed. I’m on latest iOS with latest Coursera version.
  • Useless on mobile app

I downloaded the mobile application, paid for a subscription and in the middle of the course the “third party tools” to complete the assignments did not work. Though it says it should work but they recommend using a desktop/laptop. It never worked. There was no mention of the use of those tools and possibility of them not working in the course description or pre- requisites. When emailing for support, it was of no use as they kept repeating they “recommend” using a desktop/laptop, despite me mentioning that i do not have access to a device for the next 3weeks. Their last response though i finished 97% of the course they would not mark it as complete and shared a link to the help/ support page that mentioned some “features” (not a tool) might not work on mobiles. A link or a page that you would never think to check (support page) when registering in coursera and enrolling in courses. Definitely cancelling my subscription and moving to other sites.
